Looking for an event venue? Choose from one of many venues available in the City of Port Moody. We have a variety of meeting rooms and small social venues as well as larger halls that are perfect for award dinners, showers, weddings, or galas.

For our rental rates and bookings, please send us an email or call 604-469-4552 from Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm.

All renters must review and follow the Terms and Conditions provided at the time of booking. 

Civic Centre Meeting Rooms

Civic Centre Meeting Rooms are located at 100 Newport Drive. There are three meeting rooms available for rent. 

Rental rooms

There are three meeting rooms available at the Civic Centre:

  • Brovold room (capacity 25)
  • Parklane room (capacity 20)
  • Parkview room (capacity 25)

The Parklane room has limited availability.

Glenayre Community Centre

The Glenayre Community Centre is located at 492 Glencoe Drive. You can rent the facility for a meeting, dinner or private function. The venue has a capacity of 100 people and contains:

  • tables and chairs
  • a kitchen

You are responsible for the event set-up and take down.

For all social functions, you must provide a $500 damage deposit at the time of the booking (some exceptions apply). We will refund the deposit if you abide by the Terms and Conditions.

Heritage Mountain Community Centre

The Heritage Mountain Community Centre is located at 200 Panorama Place. The Main Hall is currently not available for rent.

Inlet Theatre and Galleria

The Inlet Theatre and Galleria is located at 100 Newport Dr. and is a perfect venue for weddings, corporate functions, concerts, and theatre productions. The venue can comfortably seat up to 208 people.

Kyle Centre

Kyle Centre is located at 125 Kyle Street behind the Port Moody Arts Centre. This venue has a variety of rental options available. You can rent activity and craft rooms, the lounge, dance room or the entire facility.

If you are hosting a social function, you will need to pay a $500 deposit at the time of booking. We will refund the deposit if you abide by the Kyle Centre Rental Terms and Conditions.

Old Orchard Hall

As of June 26, 2020, we will be accepting new bookings for Old Orchard Hall. Existing bookings for Old Orchard Hall remain in place. All bookings are contingent on users meeting COVID-19 preventative measures.

Old Orchard Hall is located at 646 Bentley Road and is a popular rental facility. The venue overlooks the Port Moody Inlet and is perfect for large events such as weddings and parties. Old Orchard Hall can accommodate up to 125 people and includes:

  • tables and chairs
  • high ceilings with floor to ceiling windows
  • Kitchen
  • Mezzanine
  • Outdoor deck

You will need to pay a $500 deposit with the booking (some exceptions apply). We will refund the deposit if you abide by the Old Orchard Hall Rental Terms and Conditions.

Recreation Complex

The Recreation Complex is located at 300 Ioco Road. Whether you are hosting a shower, party or meeting, the Port Moody Recreation Complex has a space that can meet your needs. These rooms are available from 6am to 1:30am and contain washrooms, wireless internet access, and are wheelchair accessible. Consider booking one of the following rooms.

 

Multipurpose Room 2

Multipurpose Room 2 suitable for meetings and has a capacity of 50 with 11 rectangular tables. You are responsible for the room set-up and take down. 

Multipurpose Room 3

Multipurpose Room 3 is suitable for meetings and can seat 20 people. There are tables and chairs available for your use and you are responsible for the room set-up and take down.

Wellness Room

The Wellness Room has a capacity of 225 people and contains 40 rectangular tables. This room also includes the use of a kitchen with a stove and fridge. Microwave or dishes are not included with the rental.

Rental rules and regulations

The following rules apply to all of our room rentals:

  • all renters must review and follow the Terms and Conditions provided at the time of booking
  • meeting rentals must be a minimum of two hours
  • social rentals must be a minimum of four hours
  • if a rental takes place outside of our regular hours, we charge an extra $30 per hour staffing fee (for a minimum of 4 hours)

Community pools

Port Moody has two outdoor  pools that are open during the summer months from the end of June to the beginning of September. Check out our aquatics programs for specific dates and more information about the facility hours, public swims ,and programs at each community pool.

Rocky Point outdoor pool

The Rocky Point outdoor pool is located at 2800 Murray Street in Rocky Point Park.

Westhill outdoor pool

The Westhill outdoor pool is located at 203 Westhill Place in Westhill Park.

Pacific Coast Terminals Curling Centre

The Recreation Complex contains a curling centre. To Book the centre, please send us an email 

Insurance and licences

If you are booking a social event in one of our facilities you will require the appropriate insurance and licences. This includes liquor licences, liability insurance and SOCAN fees.

Fee Waiver Application

We offer registered Port Moody community groups and organizations a small fee reduction on a facility rental once per calendar year.  The first step is to reserve the venue by contacting Theatre Bookings for the Inlet Theatre and/or Galleria, or Facility Bookings for all other venues.  Once you have a confirmed rental contract with the venue, please complete the Fee Waiver Application form and email it directly to the staff person you are working with or drop it off at City Hall to their attention.  We will follow up with you as quickly as possible to let you know the status of your Fee Waiver application.
