Drop-in Gymnasium

During COVID-19 the gymnasium is available to book several times a day for a 45-minute block of time. Gym sessions include Badminton, Pickleball, Drop-in Parent and Child and Drop-in Youth Sports. You can book your session online or by calling (604)469-4556.

Please note:

  • you are only able to book within 24 hours of your desired gym time
  • the cost is $10 per session or $2 per session for Drop-in Youth Sports
  • 2 people per session, no exceptions
  • rotation with other groups is not permitted
  • you must bring all your own equipment - balls, sticks, paddles, birdies, rackets, etc.
  • basketball, soccer, floor hockey and other sports are welcome during Drop-in Parent and Child
  • nets will be set up, if applicable (volleyball, hockey, pickleball, badminton, soccer)
  • there will be 30-minute breaks between bookings to support cleaning and physical distancing requirements
  • back to back bookings are permitted, players may remain and continue to play on their court

Be sure to:

  • arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your start time – no late entry will be permitted;
  • enter through the "Gym" entrance at the side of the building, and exit through the gym doors
  • come prepared – bring a full water bottle and wear workout clothes, as there will be no access to change rooms, lockers, or cubbyholes (you’ll keep any personal items with you)
Age requirements

Badminton & Pickleball

  • Primary participant must be 16, subsequent participants must be 7+

Parent and Child

  • Primary participant must be 19+

Youth Sports

  • For youth in grades 6 to 12
