Statement from the Mayor’s Office in support of those affected by the tragic event at Lapu Lapu Day

On behalf of Port Moody, Mayor Meghan Lahti extends our deepest sympathies to those affected by yesterday’s tragic event that occurred at the Lapu Lapu Day festival. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families and loved ones, and the Lower Mainland Filipino community.

Flags will be lowered at City facilities to honour the lives lost and everyone affected by this devastating incident.
