Port Moody Mayor and Council want community feedback on the potential redevelopment of Kyle Centre (located behind the Port Moody Arts Centre at 125 Kyle Street).

“Kyle Centre was built nearly 40 years ago and over that time has become a really important part of our community,” says Mayor Mike Clay. “The building is in need of major repairs or replacement, so we have an opportunity to reimagine how this key facility can best serve residents in the future. Council identified the need to improve Kyle Centre facilities in our four-year Strategic Plan, and before we make any decisions, we want to get feedback from the community.”

The City will host a "Community Ideas Fair" at Kyle Centre on Saturday, June 25 from 1pm to 5pm. The event is open to everyone and people can drop by at any time to participate. There will be information displays, facilitated exercises, video feedback station, and other opportunities for public input. If people can't attend Saturday's "Community Ideas Fair", information from the event and an online feedback form will be posted on the City website at  www.portmoody.ca/engage by Monday, June 27 and open until July 15, 2016. Paper copies of the feedback form will also be available at Kyle Centre and City Hall.
