On Thursday, July 14, 2022, Port Moody City Council officially renamed Inlet Trail, now called Léon Lebrun Inlet Trail, and the Elsdon Bay Greenway, now called Ron Little Park, during a ceremony at each location.

Léon Lebrun Inlet Trail is a stretch of the Trans Canada Trail that runs from the bottom of Short Street to the Reed Point Marina. Starting in the 1990s, Léon Lebrun volunteered many hours toward the building of this section of the Trans Canada Trail. He was heavily involved in the planning and construction, including scouting out and planning the route, arranging funding sources, obtaining interpretive signage, recruiting volunteers, and organizing work parties.

Ron Little Park is located at April Road and Elsdon Bay Road. Forty years ago, Ron Little and a group of neighbours petitioned the City to clear out and grade the greenway to protect against wildfire risk. Since then, Ron Little has volunteered his time to maintain the greenway on behalf of the community. He has spent countless hours mowing the grass, pruning shrubs, and generally keeping the area clean for everyone to enjoy.

Mayor Rob Vagramov and members of Council honoured each volunteer at a special ceremony, thanking Lebrun and Little for their service to the community and their tireless promotion of physical activity, enjoyment of the outdoors, and the benefits of community gathering spaces. The new trail and park names are the result of nominations received from members of the community in 2021.
