Port Moody celebrates the opening of the Evergreen Extension

SkyTrain is here and it’s time to celebrate! The City of Port Moody invites the public to a free, family-friendly community celebration in honour of a landmark event: the opening of the Evergreen Extension! 

When: Saturday, December 3, 11am-1pm (rain or shine)
Where: Moody Centre Station (in the parking lot on the west side of Williams Street)

Bring the whole family to sing and dance to Music with Marnie, get your face painted, enjoy some hot chocolate and yummy treats, and try a fun spin-art activity. Port Moody Mayor Mike Clay will speak at 12pm; and when the celebration is over get ready to ride the train! We’ll be giving away single-fare Compass Tickets to the first 100 people who visit our “pop-up City Hall” during the event.
