Port Moody announces winners of the 2019 Spike Business Awards
At a gala held at Port Moody City Hall on October 17, 2019, the City announced the winners of the 2019 Spike Business Awards and celebrated Port Moody businesses for their contributions to the community.
“This year’s winners were selected from an outstanding field of 83 businesses that received nominations from Port Moody residents,” said Councillor Hunter Madsen, Chair of the Economic Development Committee, “and this year they were competing in an exciting new range of categories that brought out an even more diverse range of competitors. Although they were nominated in different categories, our winners are united in their creativity and innovation, their commitment to customer service excellence, and their desire to give back to the community.”
“Congratulations and thank you to all of our winners, finalists, and nominees,” said Mayor Rob Vagramov. “Our business owners and operators are the backbone of our local economy, and they make a difference in our community in so many ways. Their achievements are a huge part of what makes Port Moody such an amazing place.”
