City of Port Moody presents Streetheart as headliner at Golden Spike Days Festival June 30

The City of Port Moody and the Golden Spike Days Society are pleased to announce Canadian rock band Streetheart will be the headline performer June 30 during the 2025 Golden Spike Days Festival in Rocky Point Park (2800 block Murray Street).
The show is part of the City’s Canada Day celebrations but will take place Monday, June 30 rather than Tuesday, July 1 (Canada Day) to allow festival goers to enjoy an evening performance. Streetheart will take the stage at 8:30pm.
“Our Canada Day celebrations in Rocky Point Park will start one day early with a special show from headliner Streetheart,” says Mayor Meghan Lahti. “Music brings people together and helps us feel connected – arts and culture, and special events and festivals, strengthen our sense of community. We’re excited to present this concert as part of the 48th Golden Spike Days Festival, which has been bringing people together in Port Moody since 1976. I invite you to join your friends, family, and neighbours in the park on June 30 for a fantastic evening.”
Originally from Saskatchewan, Streetheart is one of Canada’s most respected rock bands. Their catalogue includes a list of chart-topping and platinum-selling hits such as Action, Under My Thumb, Here Comes the Night, Hollywood, Tin Soldier, What Kind of Love Is This, One More Time, Snow White, and Look In Your Eyes. Since the band’s inception in 1977, Streetheart has always prided itself on presenting their music with the highest level of skill, energy, and execution and the current lineup is known for delivering on their promise to continue that long tradition of musical excellence. Founding members Daryl Gutheil and Ken “Spider” Sinnaeve along with long-time Streetheart alumnus Jeff Neill are joined by Paul McNair on lead vocals and Chris Sutherland on drums.
