Celebrate the season – join us November 25 for Holiday Cheer at the Pier in Rocky Point Park

The City of Port Moody invites residents and visitors to mark their calendars for our Holiday Cheer at the Pier celebration on Saturday, November 25, 2023. Join us at this free event for all ages, which runs from 6pm to 8pm at Rocky Point Pier and Boat Launch within Rocky Point Park (2800 block of Murray Street). Festive lights will be switched on at 6:15pm.
“Holiday Cheer at the Pier is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our sense of community and spend time outdoors with friends, family, and neighbours in beautiful Rocky Point Park,” said Mayor Meghan Lahti. “Around the world, during the coldest and darkest months of the year, people take part in a variety of celebrations and cultural traditions. One thing many winter-time holidays have in common is a focus on gratitude, connection, and community. This is what Holiday Cheer at the Pier is all about, and we invite everyone to come together to help us light up the night and spread some cheer on November 25.
“And on behalf of Council, I would like to offer a big thank-you to the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, proudly representing the Port of Vancouver, for being a sponsor of Holiday Cheer at the Pier,” continued Mayor Lahti. “We appreciate the Port Authority’s support for this event and their commitment to fostering community connections.”
There’s something for everyone at Holiday Cheer at the Pier. Take a picture with Santa, pick up a complimentary cookie, and enjoy games and roaming entertainment including stilt walkers, carolers, and a “Santa-bot.” Enter for a chance to win a gift basket. Take in the colourful lights and celebrate the start of the holiday season with family and friends.
