Santa’s Christmas Ships

Rocky Point Park (2800 block of Murray Street)
Brightly lit vessels will set off from Reed Point Marina at 7pm and parade past Rocky Point Pier and the Ioco shoreline. In past years the arrival of Santa’s Christmas Ships has coincided with the City of Port Moody’s Holiday Cheer at the Pier event. Port Moody Christmas Craft Fair

The 7th Annual Port Moody Christmas Craft Fair will have more than 40 creative vendors who make a wide variety of products such as gourmet food, greeting cards, soap, candles, clothing, and jewelry. Stop by between 10am and 4pm. CP Holiday Train Celebration

Starting at 2pm, join us for both indoor and outdoor festive family fun hosted by the City of Port Moody. At 4:45pm, the CP Holiday Train will arrive decked out in holiday lights. Christmas and New Year’s Eve Skates

Pull on an ugly sweater, lace up your skates, and celebrate the season at the City’s Christmas Eve Skate on December 24 and New Year’s Eve Skate on December 31 – both run from noon to 3pm. Regular admission rates apply. Children seven years and younger must be with a parent or adult supervisor, and children in strollers must be a minimum of 12 months of age and wear a helmet on the ice. portmoody.ca/recreation

Help Port Moody’s firefighters raise money for the B.C. Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund. Members of Port Moody Firefighters Local 2399 will be chipping trees by donation ($5 minimum) from 10am to 4pm at this drive-through event. Please make sure all tinsel and decorations are removed when you bring your tree. Can’t make it? Email burnfund2399@gmail.com to inquire about their tree pick-up service.

Centralized Recycling Day

Recycle your wrap (and so much more!) at the City’s Centralized Recycling Day. Between 10am and 3pm, Port Moody residents can drop off paper gift wrap and boxes, Styrofoam and packaging, and plastic film. Please note that Styrofoam and plastic film must be bagged separately. Ribbons, bows, foil gift wrap, regular household garbage, and glass will not be accepted.
