Port Moody recognized some of its best and brightest businesses at a City Hall gala last night. With over 600 nominations, this year’s Economic Development Committee had some tough decisions to make.

“I can’t believe it’s the 10th Anniversary of the Spike Business Awards,” said Councillor Dilworth, Chair of the Economic Development Committee. “I remember the very first Spike Awards and I’m so proud to be part of an event that recognizes our amazing businesses. It’s important to celebrate their achievements and acknowledge their hard work, creativity and dedication. Congratulations to our nominees and the winners who were recognized tonight.”

“Port Moody’s business community plays an important role in making our city a place where we can all be proud to live, work and play,” adds Mayor Clay. “What I hear time and time again is that Port Moody businesses are successful because they know their customers, they get involved in local causes, and they give back to the community. This is something worth celebrating.”
