Port Moody Fire Rescue is recruiting Volunteer Firefighters.  This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to your community and gain valuable training and experience. Volunteer Firefighters are extensively trained according to NFPA Standards.

Volunteers compliment the Career Firefighters in response to fires, rescues, medical and other emergencies. They also contribute to the community as volunteers and participants in events such as the Penguin Plunge, Mayor's BBQ, Pancake Breakfast, CP Holiday Train and many other social and recreational occasions.

Volunteer Firefighters are expected to attend Thursday evening practice sessions (19:00 to 21:00) as well as occasional weekend practices, and participate in community events.
