Are you planning an event to benefit your neighbourhood? If you are part of a recognized community association you might be eligible for support.

Apply for funding

Recognized Port Moody community associations are eligible to apply for up to $750 to support an event organized through their association for the benefit of their neighbourhood. Funding is limited and we consider requests on a first come, first served basis.

Email us your completed Community Association Event Grant Application. You can also drop off your application at the Port Moody Recreation Complex at 300 Ioco Road to apply.

On your grant application you will need to provide the following information:

  • Community Association name, contact person, address, email address, and phone/cell numbers
  • date of the event
  • start and end time of event
  • location of the event (street or venue address)
  • expected attendance
  • amount requested

Guidelines

The following guidelines will be considered when reviewing applications:

  • Only recognized Community Associations are eligible to apply
  • Associations will be limited to one grant per calendar year to a maximum value of $750
  • Request must be received by the Community Services Department a minimum of one month in advance of the event
