Are you planning an event to benefit your neighbourhood? If you are part of a recognized community association you might be eligible for support.

Apply for funding

Recognized Port Moody community associations are eligible to apply for up to $750 to support an event organized through their association for the benefit of their neighbourhood. Funding is limited and requests are considered on a first come, first served basis.

On your grant application you will need to provide the following information:

  • Community Association name, contact person, phone number and email address;
  • date of the event;
  • start and end time of event;
  • location of the event (street or venue address);
  • expected attendance; and
  • amount requested.

We will notify you of the status of your application following our review.  Please allow for up to three weeks for the review process.

Guidelines

The following guidelines will be considered when reviewing applications:

  • Only recognized Port Moody community associations are eligible to apply
  • Associations will be limited to one grant per calendar year to a maximum value of $750
  • Requests must be received by the Community Services Department a minimum of one month in advance of the event

Not a recognized community association and putting on a block party? We offer a $200 grant for hosting a block party. Funding is limited and requests are considered on a first come, first served basis.
