Port Moody seeks applicants for Seniors Focus Committee

The City of Port Moody is accepting applications from residents interested in volunteering for the Seniors Focus Committee.
The Seniors Focus Committee provides Council with advice and recommendations on seniors’ issues, strategies, and projects, such as community planning; civic facilities; programs and services; and other matters referred by Council.
The committee is made up of two Council representatives, who serve as chair and vice-chair, and 10 Port Moody residents, who must be aged 55 years or older. One member of the committee serves as a representative on the Parks and Recreation Commission. Committee meetings take place every second Thursday of the month from 4:30pm – 6:30pm.
