Celebrate community partnerships and help make our roads safer

2012 Safety Fair

When: Saturday, September 15, 2012
Where: Traffic Circle, Port Moody City Hall, 100 Newport Drive
Time: 11am to 3pm
Admission: Free, with complimentary refreshments

  • Learn how to keep yourself and your family safe both on the road and at home.
  • Visit exhibits and chat with representatives from BC Ambulance Service, CP Rail Police, Evergreen Line, ICBC, MADD, Pedalheads, Port Moody Police and Fire Departments, Preventable, St. Johns Ambulance, Tri-City Speed Watch and Work Safe BC.
  • Pledge to Leave The Phone Alone and participate in activities such as DriveWise Driving
    Simulators, putting, basketball shooting, and hockey slap shot games. Kids can bring their bikes to try a Pedalheads bike rodeo, enjoy a bouncy castle, and much more.
  • Get child and booster seat tips from the Child Passenger Safety Network.
  • Enter to win great prizes including two 8 gigabyte iPod Touches courtesy of Port Moody Insurance!
