There are 3 ways to pre-pay your utility or tax bills:
- Personally approved payments
Application forms are available at City Hall, Finance counter. You will need to provide a void cheque (or details of a savings account) and a completed application form as authorization. Monthly payments are withdrawn from your bank account on the 5th of every month from September to May.

- Post-dated cheques
You can submit a series of post-dated cheques. The advantage of this option is that you choose the date of each monthly payment. Also, the dates and amounts can vary from month to month and you can even skip a month if you know you have other financial priorities. Drop these post-dated cheques off at Port Moody City Hall at any time.
- Telephone or Internet banking
Contact your bank or financial institution about scheduling regular automated bill payments to your tax account. Remember to include your property folio number without the dash (located at the top of your tax notice) or your utility account number as a reference when making payments. For utility bill payments only, payments are also accepted online at any time.
