We know that Port Moody is home to a number of exceptional businesses, and now’s the time to recognize them! The City of Port Moody wants your nominations for the 7th annual Spike Business Awards. Fill us in on what store or service impresses you the most for your chance to win an iPad. But don’t hesitate – the deadline for nominations is September 27.
Presented by the City’s Economic Development Committee, the gala evening held at City Hall on October 18 celebrates award winners. “Every year, the list of nominees gets longer and more diverse,” says Mayor Mike Clay. “This is a great opportunity to recognize those businesses that go the extra mile to deliver a great Port Moody experience.”
Councillor Diana Dilworth, chair of the Economic Development Committee, adds that “this event gives local business owners a chance to connect with their peers. We want to create a community of choice for businesses here in Port Moody, and it starts with networking events like this.”
