Friday June 8, 2012 is World Oceans Day. Find out more about the ocean that’s right on Port Moody’s doorstep by taking our online quiz.

Here’s how:

1. On Friday, check out the descriptions on the What Swims Beneath page on our website.
2. Identify some of the species that we found off Rocky Point Park and Old Orchard Park.
3. Submit your answers on the online form and we’ll enter your name into a random prize draw.

Everyone who takes the quiz will have a chance to win a prize - books, a gift card donated by the Boathouse Restaurant in Rocky Point Park, free ice cream (compliments of Rocky Point Ice Cream) and a travel mug (compliments of the Burrard Inlet Marine Enhancement Society). We will contact the winners by email on June 11, 2012.
