Emergency Preparedness Week 2012
May 6 - 12, 2012 is Emergency Preparedness Week. This national event is coordinated annually by Public Safety Canada, in close collaboration with the provinces, territories and other partners.
During Emergency Preparedness Week, activities are organized across Canada to raise awareness of how important it is to:
- have an emergency kit
- make an emergency plan
- identify risks in the region
These three simple steps can help you prepare for all types of emergencies.
