City-Owned Lands Information Session
December 04, 2017 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
City Hall Galleria

The City of Port Moody is exploring plans to sell the former Fire Hall and current Works Yard sites for redevelopment. As part of that process, Council will consider proposed amendments to the Official Community Plan (OCP) policies and zoning for these two parcels of land. Join us at the City-Owned Lands Information Session to learn about the proposed amendments.
After considering extensive community input collected during a public consultation in 2016, Council directed staff to draft guidelines for the redevelopment of the two sites. This process includes amending the OCP policies and zoning for the two parcels of land to allow a mix of uses and public amenities, including multi-family residential, commercial, a new library, a public plaza, and seniors’ housing. Council will consider the OCP and zoning amendment bylaws, and schedule a Public Hearing, in early 2018. Please join us at this information session to learn more.
