Lest We Forget
2017 Executive Committee
Port Moody Legion #119
On October 27th to Nov.11th the Port Moody Legion Branch #119 will be Poppy Tagging in our Community.
Joining as volunteer taggers are our local Cadet Corps and members of the Legion. Due to our large community support, poppies will be available at many businesses throughout the Tri-City area.
The Poppy Campaign provides Canadians with the opportunity to Remember and honour our fallen Comrades by providing a Poppy to be worn to pay tribute to their sacrifices, deeds and accomplishments.
All funds raised go directly to Veterans and their families – to the Legion Foundation – to special programs for Veterans with special physical needs – PTSD care and research – Veteran Care Homes – and provides bursaries, and much more. Please support this national campaign and give for those who have given so much to us.
For more information, please contact the office at 604-936-1312, Poppy Chair Margaret Walline 778-989-8404 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact us on our website legion119.ca.
