1. City of Port Moody Heritage Designation Bylaw 2015, No. 3006 would provide long-term protection for six buildings known as the Belcarra South Cottages located in the City of Port Moody.
Purpose: This Bylaw would provide long-term protection for the six buildings known as the Belcarra South Cottages by way of a Heritage Designation Bylaw. If adopted, the Bylaw will ensure that the distinguishing features of the heritage buildings are conserved. The purpose of the public hearing on the proposed bylaw is to allow affected parties and the general public to make representations respecting matters contained in the proposed bylaw.
2. City of Port Moody Zoning Bylaw 1988, No. 1890, Amendment Bylaw No. 229, 2015, No. 3004
Applicant: City of Port Moody
Location: The Bylaw Amendments related to new definitions for “grade” and “height” and revised height limits would apply to all One-Family (RS1) zones in Port Moody. The Bylaw Amendments related to retaining and landscape walls would apply to all one family residential zones in Port Moody (8 zones in total).
Purpose: The proposed zoning bylaw text amendments include new definitions for “grade” and “height” for properties that are zoned One-Family Residential (RS1). These amendments also include different height limits for sloping and ?at roofs for the RS1 zone. New height and setback restrictions for landscape walls and retaining walls are also proposed which would apply to all one family residential zones in Port Moody (8 zones in total).
