The City of Port Moody is partnering with the TORCC to undertake a volunteer trail maintenance day for a short section of the “Backyard Trail” which runs parallel to Parkside Drive. This trail is part of the Port Moody Parks Trail network and provides an important connection for walkers and cyclists.

The scope of work includes:

• Maintaining of trail surfaces to reduce erosion and improve the trail surface for all users.
• Removing illegally dumped garden waste that poses a threat to the park through the introduction of invasive plant species.

Work will take place from 9am to approximately 1pm.

The Backyard Trail is shown in red on the map below.
