Age Friendly Community Planning Study
The City recently engaged the services of SPARC BC to complete a study of the program and service needs of Port Moody’s seniors population. A workshop was held with Council on October 21st and the attached presentation was provided. The intent of the study is to identify actions the City could take to create an age friendly community.

The World Health Organization defines an age friendly community as one that “Encourages active aging by optimizing opportunities for health, participation and security in order to enhance quality of life as people age.”
