Jungle Gym - Port Moody Recreation Complex
For ages newborn to 5 years. Looking for something to do with your preschooler or toddler? Jungle Gym drop-in is a very popular program for little ones and their parents. This parent-led open gym program is for mom, dad or caregvier and toddler to explore the various toys, balls and gym equipment. Parent participation is required at Jungle Gym.
Fee: $2.50/child, parents free
Maximum 30 children, first come - first served.
Come early to avoid disappointment - Jungle Gym fills up fast!

Monday 10:30am-2:00pm
Tuesday 10:30am-12:30pm
Wednesday 11:30am-1:00pm
Friday 10:15am-2:00pm
Saturday 1:00pm-3:00pm
Sunday 9:30am-11:30am
Parents: To ensure your child’s safety and enjoyment please take an active roll and supervise your children at all times. Enjoy yourself and please promote sharing!
Please be advised of the following during Jungle Gym:
• No food or drink in the gymnasium
• Sign up permitted 30 minutes before allotted time
• No entry until allotted time
• Waitlists will b started once program is full
Childminding Services
Supervised childminding services are available at the Recreation Complex for parents participating in our fitness programs. Space is available on a first come, first served basis, and operating hours are subject to demand.
Childminding fees: $4.00 / first hour (2 hour maximum)
$1.00 / each 15 minutes after the first hour
Punch Pass: $36.00/ 10hr punch pass (valid for 12 months after purchase)
Child Recreation Program - Preschool
This play-orientated program for children 3 - 4 yrs. promotes learning in a friendly and positive atmosphere, while preparing your child for kindergarten. The Child Recreation Program provides a good balance of structure and social play, as well as theme activities and community outings.
Two locations/programs to choose from:
- Rocky Point, 2800 Murray Street, Port Moody
3-year-old program: Tues & Thurs, 9:15-11:15am or 12:30-2:30pm
4-year-old program: Mon, Wed, Fri, 9:15-11:15am or 12:30-2:30pm
- Glenayre Centre*, 492 Glencoe Drive, Port Moody
3-year-old program: Tues & Thurs, 9:15-11:30am or 12:15-2:30pm
4-year-old program: Mon, Wed, Fri, 9:15-11:30am or 12:15-2:30pm
*Glenayre offers extended, longer sessions!
Registration available if space permits - call for details. Register in-person at the Port Moody Recreation Complex, 300 Ioco Road. Spaces are limited – advance registration is given to existing children in our current program. Program fees are listed under the Child Recreation Program in the Happening Guide.
