Chargepoint charging station

The City of Port Moody has electric vehicle (EV) charging stations for public use at six locations, with overall capacity for 12 vehicles. Five of the six stations are connected to the ChargePoint Network, which has more than 53,000 total charging spots world-wide.

The ChargePoint Network offers a number of benefits:

  • drivers can use the ChargePoint app to locate charging stations, start a charging session quickly and easily from their mobile device, and track savings;
  • the City can track use at each station to better understand location demand for future planning, and track energy statistics such as greenhouse gas (GHG) emission savings and energy consumption per charge.

All users need to sign up for a free ChargePoint account. Visit chargepoint.com to register, and to learn how to charge your electric vehicle at a ChargePoint station.
