Use of Picnic Shelters, PCT Stage and General Park Area
The booking of Port Moody parks and outdoor facilities (Picnic shelters, PCT Stage and general park area), is available year-round. To book any (or all) of these facilities, please fill out the online booking form.
By submitting the booking form, you agree to the Terms & Conditions. If a date you requested is available, your contract will be emailed to you and payment will be due upon receipt.
For your information, please read the detailed rules and regulations for using parks and community facilities. Parking can be an issue, so think about carpooling with your large group. Please adhere to the posted parking regulations and Parks signage.
For special events, you will be required to have at least $2M insurance certificate, naming the City of Port Moody as third party insured. You may also require a Highway Use Permit from the Engineering Department, if you are planning to use a roadway.
Picnic Shelter Rentals
Port Moody has two picnic shelters available for renting. Bookings are made for the current year only. Cutoff time to book for the current weekend is Fridays at noon.
Bookings are for the following periods: 10am-2:30pm or 3:30pm-8pm. Cut-off time for the current weekend is Fridays at noon. Rates for 2016 (not including tax) are as follows:

PCT Stage Rentals
PCT Stage (at Rocky Point Park) is rented out for small private functions (i.e., wedding ceremonies) for a two-hour duration (excluding Special Events). Up to 10 chairs (not provided by the city) may be used adjacent to the stage for guests who cannot stand for the length of a wedding ceremony. The fee (not including tax) is as follows:

Please note: Should a renter wish to use part of the Park beyond the area immediately surrounding the stage, additional approval will be required. Please include the request in the online request form as indicated above.
General Park Area
If your group attendance will be more than 50 people, you are required to request written permission for either Old Orchard Park or Rocky Point Park. Please note that permission does not guarantee exclusive use of a specific space in the general park area. Please use the online request form as indicated above.
At Rocky Point Park, the pier, the gazebo at the entrance to the pier, and the boardwalks around the park are key public access areas and therefore are not available for private use.
