Use of Picnic Shelters, PCT Stage and General Park Area

The booking of Port Moody parks and outdoor facilities (Picnic shelters, PCT Stage and general park area), is available year-round. To book any (or all) of these facilities, please fill out the online request form and booking staff will be in touch with you as soon as possible.

For your information, please read the Terms & Conditions and the detailed rules and regulations for using parks and community facilities. Parking can be an issue, so think about carpooling with your large group. Please adhere to the posted parking regulations and Parks signage.

For special events, you will be required to have at least $2M insurance certificate, naming the City of Port Moody as third party insured. You may also require a Highway Use Permit from the Engineering Department, if you are planning to use a roadway.

Up to 10 chairs (not provided by the city) may be used adjacent to the stage for guests who cannot stand for the length of a wedding ceremony.

Please note: Should a renter wish to use part of the Park beyond the area immediately surrounding the stage, additional approval will be required. Please include the request in the online request form as indicated above.

General Park Area

If your group attendance will be more than 50 people, you are required to request written permission for either Old Orchard Park or Rocky Point Park. Please note that permission does not guarantee exclusive use of a specific space in the general park area. Please use the online request form as indicated above.

At Rocky Point Park, the pier, the gazebo at the entrance to the pier, and the boardwalks around the park are key public access areas and therefore are not available for private use.
