Earth Day is the world’s largest environmental movement. In Port Moody, we’re kicking off the celebrations early, with these great free events:

Garden Tour IconEarth Day in Port Moody
Sunday, April 14, 2–5pm, City Hall, 100 Newport Drive
A full afternoon of environmental events! Go on a bird walk, plant an eco-sculpture, brush up on Bear Essentials, help make community art, and more! Read up on all the details.


Bat IconBats at Night
Sunday, April 14 at 7:30pm, Rocky Point Park – Spray Park

Watch for, and learn about, bats at Rocky Point Park with local experts from the Burke Mountain Naturalists.



Garage Sale IconCity-Wide Garage Sale
Saturday, April 20, various homes in Port Moody

Recycle or sell unwanted household items. If you’ve got stuff taking up space in your rec room, think about passing it on – you can also give away gently used items. Register before April 6.
