car free day

Dear Business Owner/Operator,
On behalf of the City of Port Moody, we are very excited to announce that our second annual Car-Free Day will take place on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 12noon to 7pm, on St. Johns Street (between Douglas and Moody Street).

Last year, more than 20,000 people enjoyed Port Moody’s first-ever Car-Free Day, a community celebration featuring live music, great food, beer garden, street performers, and family-friendly activities, with more than 100 booths presented by local businesses, artisans, and non-profit groups. This year’s Car-Free Day is going to be even bigger and better, and we want you to be a part of it! This event provides a great opportunity for you to connect with local residents, customers, and visitors from around the Lower Mainland.
