Evergreen Extension Parking Plan
Preparing for Increased Demand

The City of Port Moody has a number of parking regulations for residential and commercial areas; however, as the community continues to grow and change with projects like the expansion of the SkyTrain for the Evergreen Extension, we are looking at how to ensure on-street parking meets the needs of our community.

To help prepare for the anticipated parking demand in the neighbourhoods near the two new SkyTrain station in Port Moody, the City proposed a number of options for review and feedback from the community. The options were presented at an open house on June 27, 2016.

Thank you to everyone who dropped in to see us at the open house, and to everyone who filled out a survey before the July deadline. You can read a summary of the consultation results here. Follow the links below to view the discussion guide, display boards and maps from the open house. All comments received were presented to Council in September. Council adopted the Evergreen Extension Parking Plan, as presented in the Council Report. Click here to learn about the Evergreen Extension Parking Plan.
