NOTICE: The draft Zoning Bylaw will be reviewed by council at tonight's (Feb 20, 2018) Committee of the Whole Meeting.

Port Moody’s existing Zoning Bylaw was adopted in 1988 and has not undergone a comprehensive review since that time. Updating and modernizing the Zoning Bylaw will allow us to deliver efficient customer service and provide a document that is clear and accessible to property owners, developers, and the public.

Following the recent update to Port Moody's Official Community Plan (OCP) there's also need to align the Bylaw so that it can achieve the policies set out in the OCP.

January 23, 2018 - Council to receive working draft of updated Zoning Bylaw

On January 23, 2018, staff will present a working draft of City of Port Moody Zoning Bylaw, 2018, No. 2937 that will replace the existing Zoning Bylaw No. 1890 and the GVRD Zoning Bylaw No. 511. Find a report summarizing the proposed updates and a copy of the draft updated bylaw here (Item 9.6). It is expected that a final draft of the updated Zoning Bylaw will be presented to Council in February. A Public Hearing will be held prior to final adoption of the new Zoning Bylaw.
