A number of local non-profit organizations and volunteer groups have been invaluable in supporting the City in monitoring and removing invasive plants in City parks and trails over the past decade.

Local stewardship groups such as the Lower Mainland Green Team, the Burrard Inlet Marine Enhancement Society (BIMES) and Port Moody Ecological Society (PMES) have undertaken a number of invasive species removal projects.

Port Moody’s community efforts have contributed significantly to improvement of our community as a whole. If you or your group would like to volunteer to help remove invasive plants in Port Moody, please contact us.
